The branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) comprise the three essential amino acids L-leucine, L-isoleucine and L-valine.

L-leucine:
L-leucine helps lower elevated blood sugar levels and aids in increasing growth hormone production.

L-isoleucine:
L-Isoleucine is needed for hemoglobin formation and also stabilizes and regulates blood sugar and energy levels. A deficiency of isoleucine can lead to symptoms similar to hypoglycemia. Food sources for isoleucine include almonds, cashews, and soy protein.

L-valine:
L-Valine has a stimulant activity. It stimulates muscle growth and tissue repair. L-Valine is essential for muscle metabolism, tissue repair, and for the maintenance of proper nitrogen balance in the body.

Recommended Preparation:
Add 1 heaping scoop of JBN Extend powdered mix to a sport bottle or shaker cup. Pour in 8 oz. of cold water and mix until thoroughly dissolved. For a quick cool-down, add crushed ice and enjoy!

Recommended Usage:
Supplement 1 serving of JBN Extend 45 minutes prior to and immediately after your daily workout or exercise periods. It is also recommended that you slowly drink a full serving during exercise and workout to stay hydrated. Please note: If you stack JBN Creatine 2E with this product, it is strongly recommended that you increase your daily fluid intake. Creatine supplementation can cause dehydration which can lead to cramping and fatigue.
