Known as a vasodilator, L-arginine is an essential amino acid that the body metabolizes to form nitric oxide, a molecular compound that helps relax and widen blood vessels to help circulatory flow and cellular oxygenation.
Ok.... so exactly how does vasodilation work?
During an intense workout, your body begins to release Nitric Oxide (NO), a naturally produced molecular compound that is the body's signaling mechanism to expand the diameter of blood vessels. This in turn improves oxygenation and increases blood flow to all muscle tissue. Logically, the more oxygen and nutrient-rich blood reaches the muscles, the more power, strength, and endurance potentials you could achieve. Vasodilation also enhances the process of Myodilation (enlargement of muscle tissue). Now this blood and oxygen rich muscle tissue can remain pumped up in its post-workout condition longer so you can achieve the best work out possible.
As a dietary supplement, adults take one (1) vegetarian capsule, two (2) to six (6) times daily between meals or, as directed by a health care professional. Store in a cool, dry place and away from direct light.
Keep out of reach of children.
